The 117th Annual Meeting of the American Sociological Association provides opportunities for experts and scholars in the humanities to exchange ideas about new approaches to research and practice. This year's theme, "Bureaucracies of Displacement," will convene nearly 600 programmatic sessions, providing space to discuss more than 3,000 research papers with 5,000 participants.

Together, developments in inequality and injustice will be explored and traced. The interplay of pandemic and contemporary economic and political crises will play a role. The annual conference will provide an opportunity to sociologically assess the depth of social inequality and its long-term effects.

A contribution to this will be made by the ArenDt project. Niklas Herrberg, Bjarne Goldkuhle, Melanie Reddig and Heiko Beyer will present a paper entitled "In Hiding? The displacement of German Jews from digital and analog spaces" to present their research findings.

The 117th ASA Annual Meeting is scheduled to take place August 5-9, 2022, in Los Angeles, California. The conference paper ArenDts is scheduled to present in digital format on Aug. 08, 2022, from 8 a.m. to 9:30 a.m.
